SoftCo announces the release of SoftCo R8.2

Dublin, Ireland. SoftCo, a leading developer of Business Process Automation solutions, is delighted to announce the forthcoming release of SoftCo R8.2 in Q4 2009. There are over 100 enhancements to the award winning platform delivering superior performance, faster deployment of business processes and a host of new functionality.
SoftCo R8.2 incorporates 64 bit platform support allowing access to more memory and processing power on Windows 2003 and Windows Server 2008 while also ensuring compatibility with future server platforms. It also includes full support for event based retention (EBR), built-in barcode processing, improved password security and new Workflow Routing Tables. These advancements help organisations to rapidly implement business process workflows, manage compliant data storage and to simplify complex administration tasks.
R8.2 includes a complete new Web based document and data capture engine which is compatible with the growing Software as a Service (SaaS) business solutions in SoftCo on-demand (www.softco.com/ondemand).
